How Solarly measures AI visibility.
Most GEO tools ask you to trust a number. We publish where the number comes from — the queries we poll, how often, and where the signal gets noisy. Read it, argue with it, and hold us to it.
How the engine runs
- 1. Seed queries — the 70-item matrix below is polled against each LLM search surface every 24 hours.
- 2. Citation capture — we log which domains each answer cites, plus the position and paraphrase.
- 3. Signal + confidence band — every reading carries a "Last measured" timestamp and a confidence range that widens as sample noise grows.
- 4. Publication — results feed the leaderboard,
/askedpages, and the public MCP server so agents can query them directly.
What we won't claim
LLMs update their weights on their own schedule. Any tool telling you it "defends your citations 24/7" the way Google rank trackers monitor keywords is overstating what's measurable today. Solarly reports movement, not certainty: expect meaningful shifts on model updates, and treat single readings as trend inputs, not gospel. If you catch us drifting into vibe-metrics, call it out — that's the deal.
